The Elephant Coast

The Elephant Coast, a special slice of Africa, includes the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This region, encompassing Big Five game reserves, is home to St. Lucia, the gateway to the park.

St. Lucia enjoys over 300 sunny days a year, with the Indian Ocean remaining warm year-round. Winter here often rivals a good summer in northern Europe.

From the privacy of African Ambience Guest House, you can witness the sight and cry of the majestic African Fish Eagle, a common daily occurrence.
